I often have this for breakfast, but it is a nutritious, quick and easy snack any time of the day. Both avocados and bananas are superfoods containing so many vitamins and minerals. Avocados have very good fats, pantothenic acid, dietary fibre, vitamin K, copper, folate, vitamin B6, potassium, vitamin E, and vitamin C.
Bananas contain .vitamin B6 and a good source of manganese, vitamin C, potassium, dietary fibre, potassium, biotin, and copper.
The dates have calcium, iron, phosphorus, sodium, potassium, magnesium and zinc, thiamin, riboflavin, niacin, folate, vitamin A and vitamin K.
The chia seeds contain calcium, magnesium, iron, zinc, boron, niacin. all the essential amino acids.,Vitamins B, D & E.
Bee pollen contains 27 vitamins and amino acids, 28 minerals, 11 enzymes or co
Have half for breakfast, take the other half to work for a mid morning snack. Don’t worry if the outside oxidises and turns light brown, the taste stays the same-delicious. Make sure you don’t but the synthetic essence by mistake.
2 or 3 medijool dates [depending on how sweet you want ]
1 ripe banana [ fresh or frozen]
Vanilla essence [not the imitation]/extract or organic cacao for a chocolate flavour
Soup spoon chia seeds,[protein] soaked for 10 minutes till they are jelly like [not that important, just better]
1 teaspoon of bee pollen
[Add any nuts you like if you want something more substantial to keep you going ]
Liquidise 3 medijool dates with a cup full of water, some ice if bananas were fresh, and few drops of vanilla essence.Add chia seeds, banana and avocado, liquidise till really smooth, add more water if needed, so it just drops of a spoon.
